San Francisco Plantation will host its 5th Annual "Frisco Fest” Spring Garden & Craft Festival on March 1 & 2, 2008.  Saturday will begin with a 25-mile Bike Tour at 8:00 a.m., and Sunday a 1-mile Fun Run & 5k Run at 8:00 a.m.  Register early, tee shirts go quickly!  Gates will open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday.   Admission is $5.00 per adult, and children 12 or under free.  Additional fees for house tours.
                                                                                                                    
Festival will feature local arts & crafts, plants, flowers, kids activities area, LSU Ag Master Gardeners, and great Creole & Cajun cuisine.  Cruisin’ the Plantation Car Show is on Saturday. A Chef's Choice Cook-Off will be held Sunday and served at 11am.  A Texas Hold-em Tournament will also take place Saturday and Sunday beginning at noon. Great music throughout the weekend featuring “Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie'' from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday.  Bring your family and friends and dance the afternoon away!
