Frisco Fest 2011

San Francisco Plantation will host its 9th Annual "Frisco Fest" Spring Garden & Craft Festival on March 10 & 11, 2012.  This year’s festival promises to be better than ever and has so much to offer for the whole family: Over 100+ Crafters & Artists, delicious Cajun & Creole Cuisine, Master Gardener Clinics, Jr. Art Expo, and Kids Activities which include Pony Rides, a Petting Zoo, Inflatables, Rock Climbing, and Bungee Trampolines.  Frisco Fest is also packed full of special events.  Saturday features the 25 mi.Tour De’ San Francisco Bike tour along scenic River Road and a 40 mi. Prayers and Plantation tour, the Cruisin’ The Plantation Car Show.  Sunday includes a 5k run, a 1-mile run, and the popular Chef’s Cook Off competition.  All of the excitement takes place on the picturesque grounds of San Francisco Plantation, and tours of the historic house are available throughout the weekend.  Don’t miss this spectacular festival!  Gates are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
